MARC BY MARC JACOBS ANIMAL iPHONE CASES

Phone covers were a big deal to me back in the year 2000 when I got my first phone. That Nokia 3210 wasn't going to dress itself was it? Then once the novelty of having a phone wore off, so did the high I got from hitting the market and getting yet another (slightly misshapen) knock-off case.

However, as a fairly recent iPhone user, I've realised the importance, nay, necessity of a case - I've seen too many iPhones slip out of their owners' hands in slow-motion, hitting the ground with a sickening crack. I didn't want to become a statistic so I got a grape-scented Jelly Belly case (two months on and still smelling). But that case may just have been usurped. By these bad boys.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not one for designer phone cases but I really do quite want the zebra in my life. Can't find the UK price but in the US they're $48. Go see. Bit much for a phone case innit? Guess I'll be investing in this guy instead:

DEAD DOG

Can't say I'm a fan of David Shrigley's illustrations but his taxidermy got me.

David Shrigley: Brain Activity is at the Hayward Gallery from 1st Feb.

ALL I WANTED FOR CHRISTMAS...

...was a dog. When can I be grown-up enough to have one, Santa? (Here's my brother's dog - sound the 'cute animal in festive headgear gnawing on a candy cane' klaxon.)

HOT BOY + DOG = WELL HELLO THERE

I'm not gonna sugar coat this - this post is merely half-naked pictures of a hot boy. And a picture of a half naked hot boy WITH A DOG.

So I stumbled across a smokin' pic of Adam Gregory in this month's Cosmo (perks of working at a mag - you get deliveries of other mags you wouldn't normally buy) and immediately ripped the page out to add him to mine and Charlotte's boy shrine. (Yes, we have a boy shrine around our Macs, what of it?) I then Googled him as I had no idea who he was and discovered the below pics. Oh my. Oh. My.

So apparently he's an actor. Whatevs, he's like the younger, more Cali-fied James Marsden. His biblical tattoo is very questionable and his teeth look veneered to the max but hey - no-one's perfect. (Swoon.)

HAIR OF THE DOG

Now it's often been said that I resemble an Afghan hound. I'd like to think it's because I have long wavy hair and a long nose and not because my breath honks of masticated Chappie. But either way, there are worse dogs to be compared to. (Rottweiler, for one.)

So when I saw these hair hats by Nagi Noda, I knew I'd finally found a hat style that would suit me. I tried to find out a bit more about her but her biography doesn't really make much sense. I'm not judging though - her first language isn't English and all I can do in her native tongue (Japanese) is count to 4. (Used to be able to count to 5 but I've forgotten it.)

SINCE IT'S CHRISTMAS/LET'S BE GLAD/EVEN IF YOUR LIFE'S BEEN BAD

Stockings for rabbits (not the nylon kind you perve), chilly churches, mulled wine, films films films, nut roast, so much cheese, sleeping in a warm (single) bed, a stocking seemingly sponsored by Clarins and ACTUAL REAL-LIFE SNOW! I bladdy love Christmas!

Now someone please stop me from eating. I. Just. Can't. Stop.
